2013 Spring Team Program (A Level)

This Spring I will be running a 2013 Spring Team Program at the A level

With the 2013 age group, our primary focus will be on body checking and preparing players for the next level of competition.

The team will enter two tournaments, which are currently the only tournaments in the GTA that offer body contact at this age group.

The program will include four 1.5-hour on-ice team practices, all designed as developmental skates with an emphasis on contact skills. I will also host an off-ice training and team-building day at my gym in Alliston. Each player will receive a systems booklet that they will be expected to study and understand as part of our team structure, along with a custom jersey, socks, and an apparel package.

I’ve been running these programs for approximately 7–8 years. We place a strong emphasis on development, accountability, and creating a competitive but supportive environment for our players.

I do my best to provide every player with opportunities in a variety of game situations. At the same time, I strongly believe in accountability and in rewarding players with increased opportunity based on work ethic, attitude, and coachability.

This program will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
